Blackout lining can protect the fabric from light and helps to retain heat in the winter. It can also add weight and give a better drape to your curtains. We recommend the use of interlining for delicate fabrics such as silks.With regard to roman blinds we often use a bonded lining in which the fleece and lining are fused together. This gives fabrics a softer padded look. Also available is a blackout bonded lining. This is ideal for children’s bedrooms.
